Komga Youth Hub brings practical support, skills development and access to opportunities together in one supportive community space.
Komga Youth Hub is a community-based non-profit company located in Komga in the Eastern Cape. The organisation was established in response to youth unemployment, school dropout, poverty and limited access to meaningful opportunities. By providing several services under one roof, the Hub creates a safe and supportive environment where young people and vulnerable community members can receive assistance, develop practical skills and work towards greater independence.
To build a thriving society where barriers to opportunity are removed, enabling young people to reach their potential and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
To improve the socio-economic conditions of young people, particularly those not in employment, education or training, through collaborative and community-driven interventions that address poverty, inequality and exclusion.
Komga Youth Hub combines immediate community support with longer-term development opportunities. Our programmes address needs such as food security and educational assistance while creating pathways towards training, employment, entrepreneurship and self-reliance. We work with community structures, local stakeholders, development organisations and volunteers to ensure that our programmes remain relevant, accessible and responsive to the needs of the people we serve.
Programmes are shaped by the needs and circumstances of people living in Komga.
Young people receive guidance, training and support suited to their development and future goals.
Local stakeholders, volunteers and organisations help strengthen and extend our services.
Every programme is designed to create practical pathways towards learning, employment and independence.
Whether you contribute funding, resources, professional skills or your time, your support can help Komga Youth Hub reach more young people and vulnerable community members.
