Komga Youth Hub provides integrated welfare, employment-support and digital-skills programmes that respond to immediate needs while creating pathways towards independence.
This programme provides nutritious meals, food garden activities, homework assistance, psychosocial support and safe community spaces for vulnerable children, young people and households. Through practical and community-based interventions, the programme aims to improve wellbeing, reduce vulnerability, encourage self-reliance and strengthen social connections within the community.
This programme supports young people who are not in education, employment or training through career guidance, CV development, job applications, work-readiness preparation and entrepreneurship training. Participants may also be connected with employment, learnerships, internships, volunteer placements and further training opportunities suited to their interests and circumstances.
This programme develops practical digital skills through basic computer operations, word processing, spreadsheets, internet navigation and online communication for education and employment. Training helps participants use essential digital tools with greater confidence while preparing them for further learning, job applications and modern workplace environments.
Alongside our three core programmes, Komga Youth Hub provides practical services that address the educational, social and employment needs of young people and vulnerable households. We work with community structures, local stakeholders, development organisations and volunteers to ensure that our programmes remain relevant, accessible and responsive to the needs of the people we serve.
